We’re excited to announce that we have teamed up with Canyon Brewing to bring our shared passion for sustainability together. Just like our shoes, their brews are crafted with care for the planet.
About Canyon Brewing
Canyon Brewing is a medium-sized, independent craft brewery owned by four Queenstown locals with a shared passion for all things craft beer. All our beers are hand crafted on-site in our flagship brewery in Arthurs Point, as well as our commercial brewery in the Cardrona Valley.
Who We Are

We don’t believe in boring, continuously putting innovative measures into play to challenge the ideas of what beer is, and what it can be. Creativity is engrained in our DNA and our brewers love to experiment with fresh new styles, seasonal ingredients, and all the latest techniques."
Path To Sustainability
"We’re on a mission to let curiosity and innovation lead the way. That ethos is embedded in everything we do and has paved our path to sustainability. And while we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we do take our impact on the planet extremely seriously. Barley is one of the one key ingredients in beer and is also one of the largest culprits for our emissions. So, in 2021 we decided to try our hand at growing our own right here in Queenstown and turns out we’ve got a bit of a green thumb! With a focus on quality over quantity, we’ve managed to significantly reduce our indirect emissions and improve the quality and taste of our beers. Since then, we have continued growing our homegrown barley year-on-year, in the hope to one day grow enough for all of our Canyon beers.
But the buck doesn’t stop with the beer. At the end of the brewing process, we are left with a surplus of spent grain, which is used by our chefs at Canyon Restaurant, while the remaining grain is taken right back to the land it was grown to feed our livestock."
