Celebrating the Women of Allbirds ANZ this International Women's Day
International Women's Day is an opportunity to recognise the contributions of women across all industries, including those making an impact at Allbirds ANZ. Our team is driven by talented women whose leadership, creativity, and dedication shape the way we work and grow.

Celebrating Rachel Ah Koy: A Trailblazer in Leadership, Equality, and Mentorship
At Allbirds ANZ, we are fortunate to have a leader like Rachel Ah Koy, our Chief Financial and People Officer (CFPO), whose dedication to championing equality, empowering women, and fostering meaningful change has set her apart as a remarkable force in business and beyond.
As the CFPO of Allbirds ANZ, Rachel is known for her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to both the company’s growth and the wellbeing of her team. But her work goes beyond numbers—Rachel’s journey has been defined by a deep passion for equity and empowerment, especially for Pacifica women in the workforce.
Mentoring and Empowering Future Leaders
Rachel’s dedication to mentoring and empowering others began long before she stepped into her role at Allbirds. During her time at PwC, Rachel co-founded and ran mentoring programmes designed to uplift Pacifica women. Through these programmes, she has been a beacon of guidance for many young women, helping them navigate their professional journeys while promoting diversity and inclusion within the business world.
Championing Equality, Building Allbirds ANZ, and Moving to Australia
Rachel is an advocate for gender equality and inclusion within Allbirds. Her strategic vision for creating a workplace that is not only diverse but also equitable has had a profound impact on the company’s culture. Rachel has consistently worked to ensure that all voices are heard, respected, and celebrated in every decision made, creating a nurturing environment where everyone can thrive.
Beyond her work in equality and mentorship, Rachel’s leadership has been integral to building Allbirds’ presence in Australia. She has navigated the complexities of establishing a new office, managing operations, and building a strong, cohesive team, all while maintaining the company's ethos and values. Her resilience and ability to juggle the demands of such a significant move—combined with her role as a mother—are nothing short of inspiring.
A Supermum, A Trailblazer, A Leader
Rachel’s ability to balance her high-powered professional life with the joys and challenges of motherhood is a testament to her remarkable strength and dedication. She exemplifies the fact that it’s possible to be a dedicated leader and an exceptional mum. Rachel’s work continues to inspire countless women, reminding them that they can achieve greatness in both their careers and personal lives.
As we reflect on Rachel’s contributions, we celebrate her leadership, her commitment to mentorship, and her tireless efforts to drive change. Her story is one of perseverance, empowerment, and unwavering dedication to creating a more equal world for all.
We are incredibly proud to have Rachel as a part of the Allbirds ANZ family and look forward to seeing the continued impact of her work.
Happy International Women's Day!
