Care Guide

1. Remove the laces and insoles.

2. Place shoes in a delicates bag (pro tip: a pillowcase works too).

3. Choose a gentle cycle with cold water & mild detergent.

4. Shake out any excess water & set aside to air dry.

5. Shoes will regain their original shape with one or two wears.

So. Much. Pain

"I don't often leave reviews, good or bad, but I feel I must in this case. I have wanted a pair of Allbirds for years now, and have regularly been on the website searching for the perfect pair, but never completed the purchase, for whatever reason, until about a month ago. I bought my first ever Allbirds during a Black Friday sale, much to my excitement - expectations were high, as my friends raved about theirs, and the reviews are pretty wonderful. I opted for the basic black wool rrunners in half a size up from my usual size. Initial thoughts: they look and feel (to the touch) great, and look really good on! Win! I wore them the next day to work, which requires me to be on my feet all day long; I even showed them off to my coworkers and told them how much of a steal I bought them for in the sale. Within a couple of hours of wearing them, my feet began to burn, my toes went numb, and my back hurt,in addition to developing an extremely painful spot on the top of my left foot. Thinking I may have had the laces too tight, I loosened them as much as they would go, but still, my feet burned, toes numb, back and top of foot sore. I have continued wearing them, hoping to get used to break them in more/get used to them, though the problem remains. I've never had this kind of issue with any trainers I've ever worn, ever, so obviously, I'm at a loss. My feet are not in any way considered wide; the shoes actually seem to fit well in both length and width, yet, I'm in absolute agony when wearing them and long after I take them off, to the point that the only relief I get is to soak in a hot epsom bath for an hour. Again, no other shoes I own cause this kind of issue. I would love for them to work for me, alas, they do not. 😩"

"Very prompt delivery and very comfortable. But I had not realized how thick the sole was ,compared with my previous wool runners are. A bit like snow shoes. I have worn them , and will wear them this winter with jeans."
